MLC-80 - Side-Mounted Level Switch

The MLC-80 level controller detects liquid levels in pressurized or atmospheric tanks. It uses an SPDT microswitch actuated by a magnetic field and mounted in a threaded-cover, weatherproof electrical enclosure.

Applications

The MLC-80 is used for reliable liquid level monitoring in marine tanks and similar vessel applications.

Technical Characteristics

  • Side-mount or top-mount configuration.
  • Different stem lengths available according to project requirements.
  • Optional coupling to an operation test valve when requested.
  • Standard flanged connection, 92 x 92.
  • ASME, DIN, and JIS configurations can be requested when applicable.

Materials and Construction

The MLC-80 is built with naval bronze and type 316 stainless steel for durability in demanding service conditions.
